Edward El Rassi, M.D.

Dr. Edward El Rassi is board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and one of only four ENT surgeons in the entire state of Oklahoma with fellowship training in rhinology and skull base surgery.

Dr. El Rassi grew up in Stillwater, OK and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry as well as an Honors College Degree at Oklahoma State University. Dr. El Rassi then went on to obtain his Medical Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, graduating with Special Distinction.

After medical school, Dr. El Rassi moved to the Pacific Northwest to complete residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. Upon completing residency, Dr. El Rassi again moved cross-country to New England in order to pursue fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the prestigious Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA where he also served as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School.

Following fellowship, Dr. El Rassi returned to his home-state of Oklahoma to establish his practice at OU Health. Dr. El Rassi’s practice, in collaboration with other renowned specialists, including ear, nose, and throat doctors in Oklahoma City, focuses on treating patients with conditions of the nose, sinuses, orbit, and skull base, including patients with allergies, nasal obstruction, recurrent or chronic sinusitis, nasal polyposis, epiphora (chronic tearing), thyroid eye disease, sinonasal tumors (both benign and malignant), and cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea. He brings expertise in endoscopic (minimally invasive) revision and complex sinus surgery, orbital surgery, and skull base surgery, ensuring comprehensive care for his patients.

Dr. El Rassi is married to his wife Melissa with whom he has three children, Benjamin, Claire, and Madeleine. In his free time, Dr. El Rassi enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors playing golf, cycling, or hiking. He is an avid fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma State Cowboys.
