Family Nurse Practitioner in Oklahoma City

Lauren was born in Enid, Oklahoma and obtained two associate degrees, Biological Sciences and Applied Science, from Northern Oklahoma College. She then moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma while completing her prerequisites for nursing school. In 2015, she was accepted into the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) nursing program and moved to Oklahoma City to complete her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, graduating with Honors.

After nursing school, Lauren worked both in the Medical ICU and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at OU Medicine for nearly four years. During her last year at OU, she assisted with the pandemic and worked in Covid ICU. She then took a travel contract in San Francisco, California to further assist with those affected by Covid-19.

During her last year as a nurse, she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from OUHSC. She also was accepted into the Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare residency program during her last year of school, where she completed successfully.

After graduate school, Lauren later again returned to join OU Health as a nurse practitioner in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic.

Lauren and her partner, Tim, welcomed their first son, Nicholas, this past October. They also have three dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors with them.
